The Feel of Accomplishment...

I love those weekends when you actually get stuff done and can look back with a sigh of relief - This was one of those weekends. We finally got around to cleaning some of the miscellaneous junk that had mysteriously accumulated in the garage...like the box of elementary and jr. high notes that has been in there since we moved in 4 years ago. We hung some cabinets in the office to alleviate the cluttered desks and cleaned the carpets in the baby room. We also managed to hang some pictures and make some new shelves. Not too bad if I do say so! Things are starting to look (and feel) much more organized around here. A few more finishing touches are needed in the baby room (like some pictures on the walls - it looks pretty plain right now) and then I think we're pretty much ready to welcome the little guy home!

Speaking of which...man do the last weeks seem to take forever! I have 5 weeks left and they feel like 100! Even Payton is ready to meet her brother - she thinks he should come on Saturday. That's probably a bit too early, but I do understand her sentiment.
