I'm starting to get the hang of life with two kids. It's been a bit of a challenge at times, but I think we're starting to settle into a routine. It's been really great to have Ryan home this last month to help out. That being said, it's going to be hard when he has to go back to work in two weeks. Payton is really going to miss having him at home; she has been loving spending so much time with him!
Yesterday we took a trip out to the Royal Tyrell Museum - it's been a while since we were last there...I think I was pregnant with Payton at the time. Here's a picture of my munchkins - if you look hard enough you can even see a dinosaur in the background ;)
Ryan and I were laughing about trips with kids - we said that we'd have to go back sometime by ourselves so that we can actually read some of the exhibits (last time we went we were with my niece and nephew)!
On another note, I am finding it hard to motivate myself to put any energy into my business right now. I was optimistic in thinking that I wouldn't let things slid while on my 'mat leave'. It's not that I'm not doing things, it's just that I'm a little slow with getting things done that need to be done. I have a couple of parties booked for the end of the month so I think that should be enough to kick start me again. Don't get me wrong, it's not that I don't like it or anything (I LOVE what I do!), I'm just finding that by the time I get the kids taken care of and into bed at the end of the day that I am wanting to just veg instead of putting some time in on the phone and the computer. So much for my plans to call past customers during March! Oh well, I should probably not worry about it and chalk it up to having a newborn in the house - as long as I don't continue to use that as an excuse.
