I love summer. I love the heat, I love being outside, I love the laziness of it all. I do NOT love having my children get up at 6:30 in the morning because it is so light outside. I've taken precautions to try and keep this from happening. They both have room darkening blinds on their windows in addition to the
venetian blinds and the curtains; yet they still seem to wake up
absurdly early. And then they're grumpy in the early evening because they're exhausted - especially since they are in constant motion running around outside all day. Oh well, I guess I would prefer this to the winter days where you're stuck inside all the time.
